Telephony and push-to-talk integration
Call walkie-talkie groups from landlines and mobile phones, use office phones as walkie-talkies and connect PA systems to World Walkie Talkie.
Calling walkie-talkies from landline and mobile networks
You can call walkie-talkie channels from landline and mobile networks. World Walkie Talkie arranges landline numbers for your push-to-talk system: you dial a landline number and talk to the walkie-talkies in that channel/group.
If a customer uses multiple channels, we can arrange a separate phone number for each group.
In principle any landline or mobile phone can call a walkie-talkie number, but we can also restrict this to a predefined group of people. This is useful when, for example, a manager doesn't carry a walkie-talkie but wants to talk to colleagues now and then.
Using office phones as walkie-talkies
Use your office phone as a walkie-talkie? World Walkie Talkie's communication technology makes it possible.
Office staff can talk to the walkie-talkie groups. The system can also be used to reach all staff (office and field) at once. All communication on the walkie-talkie channels also comes through on the relevant office phones.
We deliver tailor-made solutions with multiple channels. World Walkie Talkie is licence-free: customers can use multiple channels at no extra cost. Our system has nationwide and even European coverage.
Push-to-talk and public address systems
World Walkie Talkie also integrates the push-to-talk system with public address (PA) systems. We can supply a new PA system or integrate an existing one. If your PA system has a free audio input, the second, simpler option is possible.
Of course, we also make it possible to call the PA systems from landline and mobile networks.
